Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Michael Reddy Andrews, age 63, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, at Community Hospital in Tallassee, Alabama, after a brief illness. Memorial services will be Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Cottonwood Highway in Dothan, Alabama. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30pm until service time at the church. Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Hurst Andrews; son, Brian Andrews (Tammy) of Ashland, Alabama; brother, David Andrews of Alexander City, Alabama; sister, Cheryl Burch (Jeff) of Woodstock, Georgia; two grandchildren, Brianna and Michael Joseph Andrews of Ashland, Alabama, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Ernest and Doris Ann Andrews. Mr. Andrews was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and later moved to Alabama where he spent most of his adult life before settling in Dothan, Alabama, working for Houston Paper Company. He and his wife, Linda, would eventually start their own business, Finish Line, in 2001, which will remain in operation. The family request no floral arrangements and any memorial contributions be made in his name to the Kingdom Hall on Cottonwood Highway in Dothan, Alabama. Mr. Andrews will be forever remembered as a loving husband and father, who always put his family first in everything. His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
