Mr. Michael 'Mike' Masters

Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Michael “Mike” Masters, 63, of Shorter, Alabama died suddenly on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his residence. A native Lake City, Mike was the son of Leonard and Rosemary Gloria Brandeberry Masters. After attending school in Columbia County, he went to work with his father at Leonards Frame service as head mechanic, eventually becoming the owner until it closed in 2007, and then moved to Shorter, AL. He was an avid hunter and woodsman and loved hot rod cars. Funeral services for Mr. Masters will be conducted at 12:00 (noon) (EST) on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (Highway 47 South) in Lake City, Fl. with Pastor Bruce Alkire officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Masters is survived by his wife, Rhidonna “Jane” Masters; his parents, Leonard and Rosemary Gloria Masters of Lake City; daughter, Danyell Christine Sayler of Gallatin, TN; step-daughters, Tamara Lynne Stafford of Shorter, AL, and Mandy Thrift (Lou) of Lake City, FL ; step-sons, Steven Brown (Mandy) and Richard Alan Stafford both of Lake City, FL; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie and Vernon Masters (Cindee) of Lake City, FL; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 11:00 A.M until service time.
