Funeral services will be Thursday, May 09, 2013, at 1:00pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Dadeville, Alabama. Mr. Pitchford is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Barbara Pitchford; daughters, Kathy Hilyer (Mike), Terry Pitchford and Janice Adams (Philip); son, Alan Pitchford; brother, Artie Pitchford; sisters, Mildred and Myrtle; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Bernie Pitchford and his brothers, Bem, Thomas, Joe and Alton Pitchford. Mr. Pitchford served in the United States Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 09, 2013, from 12:00noon until service time at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
