Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Mr. McGarr is survived by his son, Roger McGarr (Mary) of Plainfield, Illinois; daughters, Linda Boyd (Larry) of Eclectic, Alabama and Carol Cloutier, also of Eclectic, Alabama; sisters, Elizabeth Hodge (Pete), Margie Johns and Bobbie Collier; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Ledbetter McGarr; brother, Lonnie Edward McGarr and sister, Ruby Lorraine Reed.Mr. McGarr was a member of Bethel Worship Center in Wetumpka, Alabama.The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, July 17, 2011, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Worship Center, Wetumpka, Alabama, Community Hospice Care, Tallassee, Alabama, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
