A service in Celebration of his Life will be held at First United Methodist Church, Tallassee, Alabama, Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 11:00am with Rev. Glen Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Friday, May 28, 2010, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.Mr. Patterson is survived by a son, Mr. J. W. Bill Patterson, Jr. (Sandra), Tallassee, Alabama, and a daughter, Mrs. Anna DeFore (Lee), Birmingham, Alabama; Grandchildren, Matt DeFore (Jenny) and Michael DeFore (Meredith) , Joseph W. Pat Patterson (Cathy), Angie Hathcock (Miles) and Katie Patterson; 10 Great Grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ann Noble and a host of Nieces and Nephews.Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Olive Ogletree Patterson and an infant son, John Edward Patterson.The legacy he leaves his family is the spirit in which he led his daily life with Faith, Hope and Love.Jeffcoat Funeral Home DirectingTallassee, Alabama
