Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Mayhugh, a resident of Notasulga, Alabama, formally of Colona Illinois, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014, at the age of 51. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lucy Gosa and Pastor Billy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Mayhugh is survived by his wife, Catherine Mayhugh; daughter, Ashley Mayhugh; son, Cristan Mayhugh, granddaughters, Breanna Mayhugh and Izabella Mayhugh-Cantu; parents, Willard “Jerry” and Opal Mayhugh; sister, Michelle “Shelly” Grant (Jack); nephews, David Schwartz (Crystal) and Jacob Mayhugh and grandmother, Marrilee Lounsberry. In 1981 Jeff graduated from United Township High School in East Moline, Illinois and joined the Marine Corps. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.
