Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. James “Tommy” Rigsby, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the age of 81. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Dorley officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. He is survived by his son, James Marshall Rigsby (Beth); sister, Mae Jane Kirkland; several nieces and nephews and his longtime friend, Mrs. Joan Herren. Tommy is preceded in death by wife, Genie M. Rigsby; brothers, William and Glenn Rigsby and his sisters, Betty Jo Mask and Caroline Rigsby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westside Baptist Church, 1825 Gilmer Ave., Tallassee, Alabama 36078.
