Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Jack Hight, a resident of Lake Martin, Alabama, born August 14, 1929, went to be with our Lord Jesus on August 3, 2012, @ 5:00pm, at the age of 82. Funeral services will be Monday, August 6, 2012, at 3:00pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel, Tallassee, Alabama with Dr. John Adair, Dr. James Troglen and Gilbert Green officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce Fralic Hight; daughters, Terri (Elwyn) Bowen, Julie Hight and JoAnna (Benton) Sanders; grandchildren, Emily (Morgan) Lambert and Jack Thomas (J.T.) Williams; great grandchild, a baby girl angel due to arrive in October; nephew, Warren (Joyce) Raiford; great nephew, Greg (Katrina) Raiford; great great niece, Katelyn Raiford; cousins, Larry (JoAnn) Fralic, James (Valerie) Frazier and Sheila (Jasper) Kobler and many, many wonderful, life-long friends & missionary friends all over the world. Mr. Jack worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Co for 38 years, retired on 8/31/94, saying 'someone had made a mistake - he had loved his job so much he would have done it for free'. Mr. Hight was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church in Wetumpka, AL. He was involved in Boy Scouts & Little League Baseball for years in Tallassee and played defensive tackle on the J.E. 'Hot' O'Brien championship football team. Mr. Jack never met a stranger, his heart was as big as all outdoors, full of love and loved everyone he met.
