Funeral services will be Thursday, November 15, 2018, at 2:00pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter, Leigh Collier (Ryan Klaas); brothers, Ken Smith (Shelia), Terry Smith (Crystal), Ronnie Smith (Tammy), John Price (Cynthia), Roy Price (Lavonda) and David Price; sisters, Brenda Sadler (Audie) and Elaine Wilson and several nieces and nephews and a great, great niece who love and will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne “Johnnie” Corvette Smith; parents, Leroy and Thelma Smith; step mother, Grace Smith; brothers Lamar and Donald Smith and his sister Martha Baker Howard Smith was a devoted Husband, Veteran, Chief Petty Officer in the Navy, and loving Father. His warm heart, charming wink and love of Alabama Crimson Tide are unforgettable. Howard was the sweetest Dad a daughter could hope for; he will be missed and loved forever.
