Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Fred Terrell Gregory, 97, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, (May 30, 1914) went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 06, 2012. He was a long time active member of Elam Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, taught R.A.’s and drove the Church Bus. He is preceded in death by Lee Dell, his beloved wife of 72 years. Mr. Gregory is survived by four children; Charles Gregory (Carolyn), Wayne Gregory (Barbara), Kay Webster (Roy) and Sandra McGhar (Sam). He was loved dearly by his nine grandchildren and their families. His grandchildren are: Dudley Gregory, Derona Wilson, Derick Gregory, Jeff Gregory, Lea Winslett, Dana Gunn, Brad Gregory, Randa Hammock and Meredith Marshall. He was also blessed with eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love for God, family and his nation. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 09, 2012, at 2:00pm at Elam Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Elam Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
