Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Fred Lamar Stough, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, June 09, 2017, at the age of 89. Funeral services will be Monday, June 12, 2017, at 11:00AM from Elam Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Bridgman and Bro. Eugene Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Stough is survived by his son, David Stough (Christy) and his daughter, Penny S. Crawford (Luther); sister, Ersil S. Pierce; grandchildren, Michael Stough, Jason Stough (Ashley), Brent Tennyson (Alisha), Cody Tennyson, Christy Malone, Crystal Brannon (Brad) and Luther T. Crawford (Angie); seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Mary Hathcock.. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Stella Elizabeth (Beth) Stough; son, James Lamar Stough; father and mother, Percy and Lillie Ruth Stough and sister, Voncile S. Baker. Mr. Stough served on the City Council for the town of Carrville for several years. He enjoyed working with his crafts and he had a wonderful, outgoing personality. Mr. Stough was a member of Elam Baptist Church. He loved Jesus and he loved his kids.
