Mr. Frazier 'Tater' Coan

Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Frazier “Tater” Coan, a resident of Reeltown, Alabama, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the age of 87. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 2:00pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wallace Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Old Sharon Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Coan is survived by his children, Dianne Coan Lomax of Lake Martin, Alabama, Gary Rush Coan (Sheryl) of Reeltown, Alabama, Lisa Carol Bailey (Wes) of Auburn, Alabama, and Davy Lee Coan (Mona) of Reeltown, Alabama; grandchildren, Randa Hammonds, Josh Hill (Mellisa), James Rush Coan, Kayla Bailey, Jake Bailey, Jacob Coan and Kolby “Toby Boy” Coan; great grandchildren, Sage Hammonds and Seth Hill; several nieces and nephews and many loved friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Carl Frazier Coan; daughter, Cathy Coan Pollard and his parents, James Rush and Francis W. Coan. Mr. Coan served in the United States Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart. He truly enjoyed Reeltown Football and he was also an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Coan loved everyone and he was loved by everyone. Active pallbearers will be Josh Hill, James Rush Coan, Jake Bailey, Jacob Coan, Jackie Welch and Tim Coan.
