Baker, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, February 01, 2011, at the age of 86.Funeral services will be Thursday, February 03, 2011, at 1:00pm from River RoadBaptist Church, Tallassee, Alabama, with Rev. Lenny Bolton and Rev. John Sparks officiating.Burial will follow in Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Homedirecting.Mr. Baker is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Connie B. Wallace (Wilbur); two grandchildren, Troy Wallace (Cindy) and Allison Stewart (Jackie); five great grandchildren, Justin Wallace, Kristan Wallace, Caleb Stewart, Marlee Stewart and Mason Stewart; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Rosetti King Baker and his parents, Luther M. and Fleety Mae Baker; brothers, Hershal Baker and Luther M. (Junior) Baker and sister, Voncile B. Story.Mr. Baker was a member of Wares Ferry Road Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama, and he also was a veteran of World War II.Mr. Baker retired from St. Margarets Hospital in the Maintenance Department, after several years of service.The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 03, 2011, from 11:00am until service time at River Road Baptist Church.
