Funeral services will be Thursday, October 04, 2012, at 10:00am at First United Methodist Church, Tallassee, Alabama, with Rev. Dave Barkalow officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Watkins is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Park Watkins; daughter, Susan Watkins Floyd; son, Danny Watkins (Linda); grandchildren, Chrissy Floyd Snead (Justin), John Patrick Floyd, Samantha South Floyd, Kassie Floyd South (Adam), Megan Watkins, Wes Spencer and Reid Spencer; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jonathan Snead, Keagan Floyd and Austin Spencer; sister, Mary Nelson Walker and brother, Bibb Graves Watkins. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 03, 2012, from 4:30pm until 7:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
