David Hooks officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery with Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Barnes is survived by his children, Donnie (Vicky) Barnes, Jason Barnes, Stacey (James) Gibson, and Jeremy Barnes; granddaughters, McKenzie Pauline Gibson and Bettie Ann Gibson; mother of his children, Paulette Barnes; sister, Billie (John) Golden; niece, Connie Golden and nephew Johnny Golden (Carol); and a host of aunts and cousins. Mr. Barnes is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Edward and Vera Barnes and twin brother Fred D. Barnes.Mr. Barnes was a member of IBEW Local 443 for 45 years.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
