He was born June 06, 1931, in Guilford County, North Carolina. Mr. Marshburn is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley H. Marshburn; son, Christopher Marshburn of Germantown, Tennessee, and grandchildren, David William Marshburn of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Erin Grace Marshburn of Germantown, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Grace Marshburn. Mr. Marshburn served in the United States Air Force and he was a retired underwriter and broker in the insurance industry.
