Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2019, at 1:00PM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Taunton is survived by his wife, Judy Taunton; two sons, Donald Taunton (Lisa) and Ronald Taunton (Belinda); five grandchildren, Kyle (Yancey), Garret, Russ (Amy), Britt (Hannah) and Jonathan Flurry (Carley); four great grandchildren, Jude Flurry, Ezra Flurry, Tripp Taunton and Emma Taunton; sister, Dorothy Evers (Dwight) and several nieces and nephews. He his preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Janie Taunton; brothers, Earnest Taunton, Larry Taunton and sister, Yvonne White.
