Langley, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 04, 2011, at the age of 90.Funeral services will be Sunday, February 06, 2011, at 2:00pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Faron Golden officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Mr. Langley is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Judy P. Langley; children, Johnny Langley (Emma) of East Tallassee, Earl Langley of Alexander City, Cathy Moore (Larry), Chip Humphries (Annette), Shannon Langley, Jeff and Starla Watkins, all of Tallassee; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Mrs. Charlene Gross.He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Willis and Jewel Langley; daughter, Charlotte L. Neiswonger and son, Edwin Langley.Mr. Langley graduated from Tallassee High School in May, 1952 after his service in the United States Navy.He retired from Auburn University in 1982 as Superintendent of Maintenance and Operations.The family will receive friends Saturday, February 05, 2011, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
