Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, at 2:00PM from Salem Macon Baptist Church, with Pastor Greg Pate officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Brantley is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gayle Thornton; daughter, Kim Bullock (John); son, Clay Brantley; five grandchildren, Amy Wolters (Jackson), Blake Bullock, Cale Bullock (Courtney), Jeb Brantley and Baye Brantley; six great grandchildren, Brantley, Rachel, Moose and Cora Kate Wolters and Brynlee and Dawson Bullock; sister, Sue Stalnaker (Sammie) and a host of nieces and nephews David is preceded in death by his parents, Jr. and Estelle Brantley. In lieu of flowers, he family request memorial donations may be made to Salem Macon Baptist Church, 4647 Tallapoosa Street, Notasulga, Alabama 36866.
