Mr. Clifford W. "Cliff" Cleveland

Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Clifford W. “Cliff” Cleveland, age 67, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 28, 2014. Cliff was born on October 27, 1946, and grew up in Millbrook, Alabama. He was a graduate of Autauga County High School, Auburn University and Jones School of Law. He practiced law in the river region for 40 years. Cliff was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman who enjoyed life to its fullest. Cliff is preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Lee Glass Cleveland; stepmother, Bonnie Guy Cleveland and his sister, Gloria Cleveland. He is survived by his daughter, Celeste Cleveland Minor, her husband, Jim; son, Clifford W. “Chip” Cleveland, II, and his wife Kayla; his children’s mother, Dene Wadsworth Cleveland; grandsons, Jake Minor, Ford Cleveland, Callahan Minor; granddaughter, Camille Minor; father, Clifford Cleveland; brother, Chris Cleveland and his wife, Marsha and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014, at Church in the Pines in the Kowaliga area of Lake Martin, with Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made in Cliff’s name to Children’s Harbor, Inc., #1 Our Children’s Highway, Alexander City, AL 35010-8620.
