Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Claud Oliver Burnette, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama, passed away Tuesday May 15, 2018, at the age of 95. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 2:00PM from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Claud is survived by his children, Steve Bice, Kenny Burnette (Cindy), Billy Burnette, Uleane Burnette and Christine Rushing; daughter-in-law, Diane Weldon; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances “Tiny” Stonaker Burnette; brothers, Wesley Burnette, Grady Burnette, Raymond Burnette; sister, June Sellers; stepson, David Weldon; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Mr. Claud was a kind and generous man who was hard working and loved his family dearly. He is now back holding hands with the love of his life.
