Mr. Clarence "Junior" Hammonds

Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Clarence “Jr.” Hammonds, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the age of 84. Graveside services will be Friday, March 20, 2015, at 11:00am from Liberty Baptist Cemetery with Keith Mulder officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Hammonds is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Hammonds; two daughters, Jo Hammonds (Scotty) and Sandy Phillips (Tab) and his sister, Lula Kate Cassidy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Gladys Hammonds. Mr. Hammonds loved his family, friends and the outdoors. He was a “Big Time” hunter and fisherman. Jr. worked for the B&SE Railroad, Tallassee Mills and retired from The City of Tallassee. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
