Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Clarence (CE) Baker, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the age of 76. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 03, 2016, at 2:00PM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel, Tallassee, Alabama, with Pastor Bob Bachant officiating. Burial will follow in Pentecost United Methodist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Earnestine Baker; children, Darlene Owens, Clint Baker (Mia), Curt Baker (Jeanne) and Keith Baker (Sandy); grandchildren, Derek Price (Nikki), Dylan Baker (Lauren), Mehgan Henley (Terry), Drew Baker (fiancé – Jessica), Emily Rollins (Jesse), Paige Baker, Zach Baker (fiancé – Kelsey) and Randa Owens; great grandchildren, Ava Claire Baker, Annalyce Baker, Grant Baker, Clay Price, Aubrey Henley, Avery Henley and James Rollins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Gladys Baker and two brothers, Eldridge Baker (Estelle) and Larry Baker (Jean). The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 02, 2016, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home, Tallassee, Alabama. Mr. Baker was very active in catfish farming, planting huge gardens and staying busy. He was a master of all trades. He was also a member of Pentecost United Methodist Church.
