Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 4:00PM at Union United Methodist Cemetery in Union with Rev. Danny Rodgers officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Simmons is survived by his daughter, Debra S. Trigg (Frank); grandchildren; Sonya McClinton (Kevin), Angela Trigg, Camille Foster (Steve); great grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, Hanna, Benjamin, Andrew, Rebeka, Brodie, Blake and Emily. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mrs. Lenora “Nora” Dean Simmons; brothers and sisters, Vernard, Clester, R.T., Virgel, Mary Emma, Sara, Ola, Ruth and Tempie.
