Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00AM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Burnett is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julia Burnett; children, Gerrie Robin Myers, Dehlia “Dee” Burnett Hazelip (Shawn), Byron “Ray” Burnett, Jr., April Leigh Burnett Burdell (Wayne), Mark Harris (Kellie), Gina long, Michelle Pearson and Shayne Harris (Jackie); eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Johnie Robert Burnett and Annie Beatrice Burnett; daughter, Deborah Lynn Burnett; siblings, Margie Ruth Burnett Fowle, James “Pete” Burnett and Bobby Burnett. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Dadeville, Alabama. The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2020 from 10:00AM until service time at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
