Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 07, 2016, at 10:00AM from Carrville Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Webb officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Powell is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Judy Burnside Powell; daughter, Lori Powell Sharpe (Carney); mother-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Burnside; four grandchildren, Emmi Kate Scott, Taylor Lanier “Zeke” Scott, Jackson Walker Sharpe and John Sawyer Sharpe; brothers, Barry Powell (Anna) and Chris Powell (Mickie). He is preceded in death by his parents, A. J. and Gladys Powell. The family will receive friends Monday evening, June 06, 2016, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
