Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 USMC Billy Guy (Ret.), a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at the age of 78. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 11:00am from Riverside Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Billingsley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Guy is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie O’Steen Guy; son, Allen Guy; daughter, Vicki Guy; grandchildren, Christy Guy Harris (Dallas) and Matthew Guy; brother, Clinton Guy (Peggy) and sister, Myra Jane Mullins (George). He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Albert Guy, Sr. and Ila Belle Ransom Guy; brother, Albert Guy, Jr. and sister, Elaine Guy Hall. Mr. Guy was a loving husband and father. He loved and served his country well and was a proud Marine, serving two tours in Vietnam. He also was a charter, active member and deacon of Riverside Heights Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Heights Baptist Church, 495 Little Road, Tallassee, Alabama 36078.
