Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Berry Glass, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the age of 70. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 11:30AM from Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. David Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until service time at the church. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Berry is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. Glass; son, Stacey Glass (Paula); daughter, Tina Pippin (Bill); three grandchildren, Justin and Lindsey Glass and Austin Edwards; brothers and sisters, Horace Glass, Mary Charles Linch (Jack), Larry Glass (Libby), Jeanette Ward, Betty J. Powell and Sylvia Butler (Clyde); mother in law, Mildred Fuller; sister in law, Annie Laura Glass and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mary Will Glass and his brother, Robert “Bob” Glass. Berry was a devoted Christian man who served his faith, family and community whole heartedly. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, Missions and Outreach, 574 Liberty Road, Tallassee, Alabama 36078.
