Mr. Artis Lee Beddington

Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Artis Lee “Art” Beddington, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014, at the age of 65. Memorial services will be Thursday, February 06, 2014, at 6:00 pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Beddington is survived by his sisters, Annette Amos of Valley, Alabama and Eunice Cook of Locust Grove, Georgia; brothers, Roy Beddington of Valley, Alabama, Ray Beddington of Union City, Georgia and George Beddington of Wetumpka, Alabama; thirteen nieces and nephews and his best friend, Jason Morton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady Lee and Essie G. Beddington and his brother, Gerome Beddington. Art gave GKN 27 years of stellar performance and he will be greatly missed by all. He began his employment there as a composite worker and within a short amount of time, he moved into a supervisory role.
