Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Miss Johnnie Ruth Parker, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, formerly of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the age of 79. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, Montgomery, with Dr. Lawson Bryan officiating. Graveside services will be 3:30 pm at Carrville Cemetery, Tallassee, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Miss Parker is survived by her cousins, Errol Shaw (Judy), Louise Shaw, Mary Ruth Webster and Ben Jones (Fay) and numerous others. Miss Parker taught at Floyd Elementary School for over 35 years and she also did administrative work at Brewbaker Elementary. She loved Lake Martin, traveling, shopping and spending time with friends.
