Leslie Harris Morrison, of Eclectic, Alabama, passed away peacefully at the age of 50 on May 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on October 20, 1974, in Montgomery, Alabama, Leslie was a devoted mother, “LuLu,” nurse, and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Jordan E. Navarrete (Jacob P. Navarrete) and Kayla M. McLendon, and her beloved granddaughter, Hadley E. Navarrete, who was the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Carl W. Morrison; her father, Thomas Jerry Harris; her mother, Carolyn S. Harris; and her brother, Thomas R. Harris

Leslie dedicated many years of her life to nursing, spending the majority of her career in the Ear, Nose & Throat field. She approached her work with deep compassion and an unwavering commitment to caring for others.

Outside of work, Leslie cherished time with her family—especially moments shared with her granddaughter Hadley. She found joy in cooking, fishing, and taking trips to Pensacola, Florida, where Peg Leg Pete’s quickly became a favorite destination.

Fulfilling her wishes, her daughters, her son-in-law (lovingly known to her as simply “son”), and her granddaughter will make a trip to Pensacola in her memory—a place that brought her happiness and peace.

Leslie’s love for God, warmth, laughter, and love will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the American Nurses Association, Baptist Hospice, or the Lupus Foundation of America.

"Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." Proverbs 31:31

There will be a Celebration of Life service held at a later date.
