Kimberly LaShae “Kimmy” Floyd, a beloved mother, wife, and creative spirit, tragically passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, just days before her 25th birthday. She leaves behind a vibrant legacy that reflects her love for family, her artistic talent, and her warmth.
Born on September 11, 2000, Kimmy was known for her great capacity for love and nurturing. As a devoted mother, she was fiercely proud of her children, which included her daughter, Ellie Floyd, and her son, Levi Floyd. Kimmy’s loving nature extended to her role as a wife to her husband, Austin Floyd.
Her creativity was not just a pastime; it was a defining feature of her personality. Kimmy was particularly crafty and enjoyed painting, using these talents to brighten the lives of those around her. Her artistic endeavors were a reflection of her inner vibrancy, and they brought her immense happiness.
Kimmy is survived by her husband, Austin Floyd, her cherished children, Ellie and Levi; siblings, Aubrey Stubblefield, Kiara Stanley, Patience Farmer, Karma Farmer, Malachi Pride and several other siblings; her devoted grandparents, Brenda Farmer and Charles Farmer. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law and twin of Austin, Adrianna Newman, along with her brother-in-law, Caleb Flowers. Each of these relationships was important to her, grounding her in a network of love and support.
Kimmy's loving spirit will always be remembered by those who knew her. She has been preceded in death by her uncles, Brandon Clutts, Justin Clutts, and Wesley Clutts, as well as her cousin, Michael Stewart and her great-grandmother, Reva Farmer. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart and contributed to the person she became.
The family will receive friends at Jeffcoat Funeral Home in Tallassee, AL, on Friday, September 12, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The family invites all who knew and loved Kimmy to come together to celebrate her life and share cherished memories.
