Jason Edwin Anderson

Jason Edwin Anderson, born on April 2, 1979, in Opelika, Alabama, passed away on August 21, 2026. He is lovingly remembered as a devoted son, father, brother, and friend whose presence touched many lives.

Jason’s greatest pride and joy were his children, Carlee Anderson and Jacob Anderson, who survive him. His devotion to them was steadfast and unwavering. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Barbara Baker; his sisters, Laura Steele (Matt) and Kaycee Bass (David) and a host of nieces and nephews. Jason is preceded in death by his father, Roger Anderson, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond.

Throughout his life, Jason found comfort and happiness in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished countless hours spent in nature and relished the companionship of his friends during these pursuits. Those who knew him remember his ready smile, generous spirit, and commitment to making memories alongside those he loved.

Family and friends will gather to honor Jason’s memory and reflect on the ways he enriched their lives at a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00PM, at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jay Woodall officiating.
