Mr. James Aubrey “Jimmy" Henderson, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born January 23, 1952 in Tallassee, Alabama to Fletcher and Pauline Benton Henderson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Oowalah J. Henderson; daughter, Pam Henderson-Thornell and son, Jamie Scott Henderson (Heather); step children, Roger Rowan (Pam), Kathy Whitman and Donna Stevens (Benny); grandchildren, Dalton Thornell, Mason Scott Henderson and Aubrey Claire Henderson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Pauline Henderson; step daughter, Deborah Stewart; two brothers and one sister.
He was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing, but loved his family most of all.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2023 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at the family home, 17450 Rifle Range Road, Tallassee, Alabama 36078.
