Gary Fuller, a beloved family man and dedicated worker, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on May 9, 1957, Gary led a life that celebrated the joys of simplicity, finding happiness in the little things that surrounded him.
Throughout his career, Gary contributed his talents to G & D Wholesale Muffler Shop, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his job. He found fulfillment in both his work and personal life, treasured for his dedication to family and friends.
Gary was an avid fisherman, a passion that allowed him to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty around him. Gary loved everyone and everyone loved him. He never met a stranger, and if he did it wasn’t long before they were friends. Although he could sometimes present a tough exterior, those who knew him well understood that beneath that hard shell lay a genuine softie, whose compassion and kindness touched the lives of many.
He had a special affinity for gatherings centered around food, particularly enjoying fish fries, grilling ribs, and preparing barbecue. His signature old, dirty white tee shirts and a well-loved tea cup were symbols of his contentment and satisfaction with life's simple pleasures.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Donna Alexander, and their loving children, Michael Wiggins, Joleen Griffith, Cassie Gilley (Blake) and Anthony Smith. Gary took immense pride in being a grandparent, and he leaves behind grandchildren, Ronnie Boswell (Rhonda), and Johnnie Boswell (Diane), along with ten cherished great-grandchildren and sister, Diane.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Orie Daniel and Lorraine Baker Fuller, and his brother, Mickey Boswell. He will be missed deeply and remembered for his larger-than-life personality, love for family, and the joyful moments he created that brought everyone together.
Gary was a husband, father, grandfather and a great grandad. He was the finest man my kids and I ever knew. He was a hard worker, a great fisherman, deer processor, car salesman and muffler man. We’ll love you forever and always and a day. Never will there be a day you’re not thought of.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date, honoring the warmth and legacy that Gary leaves behind.
