Mrs. Diane Hamby Weldon, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the age of 78. She was born August 20, 1946, in Tallassee, Alabama to William Fred and Arrie Lee Downs Hamby.
Mrs. Weldon is survived by her children, Cliff Paschal (Alice), Michael Weldon (Heather) and Layne Weldon (Tracy); sister, Joyce Johnson (Tom); brother, Jerry Hamby (Rose) and grandchildren, Auburn Harris Weldon, Anslee Brooke Weldon and Audrey Grace Weldon.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, David Weldon and parents, Bill and Arrie Lee Hamby.
Mrs. Weldon owned and managed Tiger Paw in Tallassee, Alabama, for thirty-one years.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 1:00PM until service time at 2:00PM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home, Rev. Brandon Fomby and Rev. Clint McBroom officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
