Mr. David Earl Smith, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born February 10, 1959, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Wayne H. and Peggy F. Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by two sons, Brandon Smith and Bradley Smith (Ashley); one daughter, Paula Franklin; a brother, Dannye Smith (Rita); sister, Darlyn Mims; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Smith and Peggy Melton and his daughter, Sencerea Shanta Wright.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 10:30AM until service time at 11:00AM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will follow in Verbena Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home Directing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
