Danny Thomas Hall, 78, of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away at home on October 14, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born January 29, 1948, in Gordon, Alabama, to Clyde and Irene Hall, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, known to many as "Pops."

Danny was a licensed electrician who spent his career in the elevator installation industry. He earned an Associate Degree in Applied Technology in Computer Information Systems Technology. A man of Christian faith, he found his greatest joy in family. He treasured time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whether they were fishing together or feeding the horses.

Pops had a saying his family will never forget. Whenever someone started to tell him, "I love you, but...", he would stop them with a grin and say, "There is no but. It's just I love you."

Danny shared 36 years of marriage with his wife, Jerlene Hall, and his best buddy, Toby, was always by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Irene Hall; sisters, Edwina Etheridge and Elaine Smith; brother-in-law, Jimmy Etheridge; and granddaughter, Mandy Emfinger.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Candace Cline, Gail Miceli (Philippe), Cindy Golden, and Wendy Ricci (John); sons, Judson Hall and Dan Hall; brothers-in-law, Larry Smith and Charles McGhee (Mary Allen); and his grandchildren, Shea Freeman (Lake), Adam Beavers (Nicole), Chris Beavers (Kirsten), Hayden Wolters (Cory), Brittany Hall (Matt), Jordan Hall, Jessi Miceli (Logan), Jodie Miceli (Brady), Meghan Bonifay (David), Lindsey Boozer (Jacob), Kaylyn Badders (Jake), and Rachel Crawford.

He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Parks, Lina, Emily, Logan, Lyle, Parker, Nora, Ashton, Madison, Chase, Collins, Riggins, Elizabeth, Scarlett, Hudson, and Tatum; several nieces and nephews; and several bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him dearly.

The family will hold a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Elmore County, 255 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092

Pops will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Danny's final days.
