Christi C. Screws passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, in Montgomery, Alabama, at the age of 72. Born on October 17, 1953, in Anniston, Alabama, Christi’s life was marked by deep devotion to her family and a steadfast sense of kindness and grace that touched all who knew her.

Christi grew up in Anniston, the beloved daughter of Hubert and Margaret Crawford, both of whom preceded her in death. From an early age, she exemplified the caring spirit and gentle perseverance that would define the rest of her life. Her strong family ties continued throughout her years, forming the cornerstone of her life’s journey.

Christi shared a cherished marriage with her husband, Allen Screws. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, mutual respect, and love. Christi was also a devoted sister to Karen Jackson and Cathy Flowers (Russ), whose lives she enriched with her unwavering support and affection.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2026, from 10:00AM until service time at 11:00AM at East Tallassee Church of Christ, Mike McElroy officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
