Mr. Charles Houston Pollard, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born in Tallassee, Alabama, February 11, 1943 to Wallace Houston and Margaret Holt Pollard.

Mr. Pollard is survived by his daughters, Vicki Pollard Howell (Frank) and Valeri Pollard Mabray (Mike); sister, Linda Sue Pollard Golden (Ronnie); grandchildren, Chasidi Howell, Chelsi Howell Brewbaker (Mac), Houston Mabray (Ashlyn) and Bailee Mabray.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Margaret Pollard.

Charles was a graduate of Auburn University and he owned Pollard’s Nursery and Soil Plus, Inc. He was an active member of Sons of Confederate Veterans, a member of the Tallassee Historical Society and he was also a proud author of “Life Lessons.”

The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to his caregivers.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00AM and family will receive friends from 10:40AM until service time at Carrville Cemetery.
