Angie was preceded in death by her daughter Millie Elizabeth Elia. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Elia, her son Rob Elia and daughter Molly Elia. She is also survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. James and Sue Peterson of Birmingham, Alabama and sister, Valarie Peterson Hanley of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the beloved Aunt of her 15 nieces and nephews. Angie was a graduate of Auburn University and The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was a Nurse Practitioner in the department of Neurology at Children's Hospital. Angie was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed. A Visitation and Celebration of Angie's life will be Thursday, July 27 at Meadow Brook Baptist Church. 4984 Meadow Brook Road, Birmingham, Alabama 35242. Visitation will begin at 4:00 in the afternoon with a Celebration service following at 6:00.
