Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Tonya Annette Bender, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away, Friday, January 9, 2015, at the age of 36. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2015, at 2pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Bender is survived by her four children, Cody, Angel, Nathan and Chelsey Bender; her partner in life, Thomas Cook; parents, Donald Price and Stacey Blakely; sister, Donna Head (Bobby); grandparents, Ronald Price and Pat Berry and several nieces and nephews. Tonya is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bender, grandmother, Hazel King and great grandparents, E.B. and Evelyn Price. Her passion in life was being a mother to Cody, Angel, Nathan and Chelsey and having a new life with Thomas. She was a very loving daughter and granddaughter. She loved her fur babies, Bruno, Pebbles, Bella, Stormy and Baby G. Her mother taught her that strength came from God and they shared prayers together. The last prayer they shared together was the night before she died. She asked God to wrap his arms around her, and he did.
