Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Addie Loyce Norrell, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 04, 2017, at the age of 91. Funeral services will be Friday, October 06, 2017, at 2:00PM from Liberty Baptist Church (Friendship) with Rev. David Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until service time. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Norrell is survived by her daughter, Mrs. June Peoples; daughter-in-law, Diane Norrell; son-in-law, Harold Dennis; grandchildren, Troy Dennis (Leslie), Paulette Meadows (Allen), Terri Dennis (Charlie), Talitha Collins (Jeffrey), Ashley Norrell (Michael), Eric Norrell (Heidi) and Jeffrey Dennis; ten great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; sisters, Annie Murle Mooney and Willodean Cooper (Jimmy); brother, James Winfield (Alice); numerous nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Wendell “Winky” Norrell; son, James Norrell; daughter, Carolyn Dennis; son-in-law, Clint Peoples; parents, Charlie and Lessie Winfield; brother, Herman Winfield and sister, Imogene Winfield. Mrs. Norrell was a member of Liberty Baptist Church over eighty years. She wrote in her journal to her family, “I want to be a person that shows everybody love. I want to show that God is a wonderful Savior and I want to be a witness for Him. I want to love and help everybody I can until the Good Lord calls me home. I had such a good husband and children and grandchildren.
