Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at 11:00am from Bethlehem East Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Holsonback and Mr. Dale Mask officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.Burial will follow in Bethlehem East Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura D. Abbott; children, James Holsonback (Jennifer), Rose Hornbeck (Michael) and Mitchell Holsonback (Doreen); grandchildren, Michael Holsonback (Jenni), Lee Holsonback (Jessica), Amber Holland (Marty), Meagan Holsonback, Morgan Holsonback and Macie Holsonback; great grandchildren, Chris Holsonback, Beth Holsonback, Anna Grace Hornbeck, John Michael Hornbeck and Madison Rose Holland; sister, Karen Ingram (Thomas C.); nephews, Johnny Ingram and Chris Ingram (Wanda).He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Floried Roberts Abbott; son, Joe Holsonback and granddaughter, Laura Faye Holsonback.The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 09, 2010, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.Active pallbearers will be Frank Dewise, Chris Ingram, Johnny Ingram, Dale Mask, Tony Mask and Jerry Hamilton.Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem East Baptist Church, 7561 Upper River Road, Tallassee, Alabama 36078.
