Mr. Harold L. Hale, Sr. quietly passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the age of 85.He was loved by many, therefore two services will honor him Friday, April 29, 2011, at 11:00am from McGhee Road Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama, with Rev. Greg Murks, as well as a graveside service at 2:30pm in Rose Hill Cemetery, Tallassee, Alabama, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Mr. Hale is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anne Hale; son, Harold L. Hale, Jr. (Cheryl); daughter, Jayne Hale; granddaughter, Alissa Hale; grandson, Grayson Hale and two brothers, Jerry Hale (Patsy) and Ralph Pete Hale.He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson Hale and Arrie Mae Coleman Hale; brothers, Dorsey Jackson Hale and James Louis Hale and sisters, Montez Hale Gregory and Emyline Hale Barker.The family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, 2011, from 10:00am until service time at McGhee Road Baptist Church. There will also be a visitation for Mr. Hale from 2:00pm until 2:30pm at Rose Hill Cemetery, Tallassee, Alabama.Mr. Hale loved and honored his family, friends and country as a proud soldier of World War II.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alcazar Temple, Montgomery, Alabama, for the Shriner Childrens Hospital.
