Mr. Joseph Michael “Mike” Murphy, a resident of Dadeville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the age of 75. He was born April 27, 1948, in Notasulga, Alabama to Buford Lorenzo Murphy, Sr. and Inell Williams Murphy.

Mr. Murphy is survived by his wife, Mrs. Karen M. Murphy; daughters, Denise Mills (Craig) and Traci Curlee (Mike); brother, Warren Murphy (Rethea); grandchildren, Colby Swindall (Caroline), Hannah Ray (Tibb), Emily Ray, Michaela Southerland (Chris), Amber Poitevint (Dewayne), Ashley Price (Lane), Kayla Gindle and Maci Curlee; several great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Inell Murphy and his brother, Buford L. Murphy, Jr.

Mr. Murphy retired from Delta Air Lines as an IT Technician. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:00 until 11:00AM from Jeffcoat Funeral Home, Tallassee, Alabama. Graveside Services will follow at 11:30AM at Union Church At Lake Martin Cemetery, Rev. Jay Woodall officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
