Mrs. Lillian V. Cowan, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, June 08, 2012, at the age of 94. Funeral services will be Monday, June 11, 2012, at 2:00pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Cowan is survived by her sons, Phillip G. Cowan (Janice) and James L. Cowan (Edith); nine grandchildren, Mark, Connie, Susan, Christine, Lorie, Mike, Debby, Richard, and Robert; a host of great grandchildren and nephew, Jack Utley. Mrs. Cowan is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Leon Cowan and her parents, John David and Effie Vaughn Utley. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
