Mrs. Mary Hutchens, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, April 01, 2012, at the age of 83.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 03, 2012, at 2:00pm from River Road Baptist Church with Pastors John Sparks and Jim Voss officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hutchens is survived by her children, Geraldine and Jeff Langford, Judy and James McCarty and Willie Joe Hutchens; grandchildren, Misti and Phillip Carter, Kristi Reeves and Joel Dillard, Jamie and Kristi McCarty, David and Kerry McCormick, Kellie and William Colvin, Miriah and Ben Pollard; great grandchildren, David “DaDa” McCormick, Cade Sargent, Tyler Colvin, Amber Colvin, Thomas Pollard and Jade Pollard; brothers and sisters, Hettie Jones, May Griggs, Rufus Mann, Fred Mann and Billy Jay Mann, several half brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hutchens and parents, J.J. and Rosie Lee Adams Mann.
Mrs. Hutchens was employed with Mount Vernon Mills for over 40 years.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 02, 2012, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
