We have lost a soul for CHRIST in Brother Jack's passing. I still remember Bro. Jack and myself sitting up when my father passed in 1976. Daddy loved Bro. Jack and Bro. Jack loved daddy too. I still remember Bro Jack singing at mother (Sister Curvell's) funeral this year.
Our prayers will be with Bro Jack's family to help ease the pain of the loss of a humble Christian that loved everyone he met in his time here.
I am a richer person to have known Bro Jack while he was walking this place where our Christ Jesus walked and was crucified for ALL our sins.

May you find comfort in the fond memories of her and may God give you all the strength to endure this time of sorrow. Remember and rejoice in God's promises in the scriptures to obedient mankind who have fallen asleep in death at Acts 24:15, there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. In addition, very soon pain, sickness, and death will be no more as mentioned in Revelation 21:1-5. My sincere condolences to the family.

Dear Mrs. Joyce and family,
John and I are so sorry about Bro. Jack. I know you will miss him dearly. But, as John said he had heard Bro. Jack say once, "He will be kicking up gold dust in heaven one day" and I know he is with our Lord Jesus right now. We have always loved to hear the two of you sing the Lighthouse together. You and Bro. Jack have been such an inspiration to our family. I will never forget how you and Bro. Jack helped make our wedding day so special for John and I. I remember every verse Bro.Jack read to us. We love you and will be praying for you. John, Kimberly and the boys.

Bro. Jack & Mrs Joyce have always been a blessing to my family. I enjoyed growing up at Grace Baptist Church & having Bro. Jack & Mrs. Joyce in my life. I will always remember him singing "The Lighthouse" and "Beaulah Land". Thanks for all of your many years of dedication to our church and for making a difference in so many people's lives. You will be missed! Our daughters, Kimberly & Ashley loved you, too! <3

Dear Joyce & Family,
We were so surprised and saddened to hear about Bro.Jack. Our prayers and condolences to you and your family.
We are so glad we were able to see and talk with Bro. Jack a few months ago. He was in the yard, near the water, cleaning it up. We were in the area and decided to drop by and see you both; but you had gone into town. He seemed to be in good spirits and we had a nice visit with him. I know you and and the family are really going to miss him, but the Lord has him now and there will be no more sickness for him to endure. You will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days.
Love,
Jerry & Linda Scarbrough

I work with Julie. She so often spoke of her father. What a precious father to give so much in life to his family and friends. Julie's smile and laughter she brings to those around her must have been instilled by her loving father and mother. I know he will be greatly missed here on earth and warmly welcomed into the Father's arms in heaven.

Bro. Jack, you were like a member of our family. I will never forget how you were such a blessing to my parents when my dad was ill and having to stay home and you would go by and have supper with them and make their day.
Then when I found out I was going to finally have a child, you and Nana Joyce were very excited and graciously agreed to be her god parents.
Thank you for your faith and testimony all these years. You will be greatly missed, but I know you are at peace, no more pain and most of all, you are with our wonderful Lord and Saviour Jesus The Christ. We love you.

Just knowing Bro. Jack is not here on earth makes us miss Him so much already. Knowing that He is in Heaven with our wonderful Lord and Saviour, and knowing we will get to see Him again makes it a lot easier to accept His absence here on earth. We are praying for Sister Joyce and Family. May God Bless you all. Love John and Marge.
